Post- COVID-19, we are hosting in-person events.
STEM for KIDSThis online program is supported by Society for Science Advocate program, City of Frederick (in 2021) and STEM kits are provided by ThermoFisher Scientific (2018-2021) and Aavanee. We encourage elementary and middle school kids to STEM for kids program and introduce them to different topics in STEM. Certain topics that we cover are Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Electricity, and Computer Science through Lab Experiments conducted with supervision. Register for an upcoming series/interest in 2024-25! We provide Science Fair Coaching between November to March each year. Students get guidance from topic selection, project planning, execution and presentation. Students are encouraged to apply to various competitions. Yoga for Mindfulness: Part of senior programALICE (Asset, Limited Income Constrained, Employed) women, Senior citizens can experience increased stress levels to meet the demands of the household and changing health. One way of handling the stress is to ensure a good mental health through "Mindfulness" programs designed for all women. Regular yoga reduces stress levels and improves physical and mental health. This online program is open to all women and seniors.
